Curbside Trash & Recycling thursday or FRIDAY
Route days remain the same from previous hauler.
(Northeast on Thursdays, Southwest on Fridays)
All Trash & Recycling Totes must be on the curb with
handles pointing toward the house by 7:00 a.m. on your pickup days.
Accommodations available for residents with medical needs upon request.

It is highly encouraged for trash to be bagged.

Bulk Items
Bulk items and extra trash may be placed on the curb on your scheduled trash pickup day.
Large items must be cut into 4' sections (ex: carpet, tree branches, lumber, pipes)
All mattresses and upholstered items need to be wrapped in plastic
Yard Waste is accepted per the Village contract. Please see the Chagrin Falls Website for guidelines.
Prohibited Items
Alkaline batteries • Business waste • Explosives, gun powder, ammunition, flares • Florescent bulbs • Latex paint (unless dried- please click here for full latex paint guidelines) • Medical waste, pharmaceuticals, medicine, sharps • Radioactive waste (i.e. smoke detectors) • Rechargeable (NiCad battery)

Recycling must be in the
tote loose - NOT bagged.
When in doubt, throw it out
**If your Recycling cart contains a
high amount of non-recyclable material
we must place the contaminated trash
on another truck. If this happens an
educational tag will be placed on
the recycle container explaining the
Recyclable Product Guidelines.
